We will march from the Historic Commercial Center District to the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse where we will rally in celebration of International Worker’s Day and demonstrate in solidarity with workers, immigrants, & those with a vision for a better, more peaceful world. Rally to feature entertainment and guest speakers (TBA).

Traditionally, May Day has been celebrated as the International Day of the Worker every year on the first day of May. Tracing it’s history back to the 1886 protests for an eight-hour working day in Chicago’s Haymarket Square and the broader movement for worker’s rights during that era, in many countries throughout the world “May Day” is officially recognized as the true original “Labor Day.”
